In case you haven't noticed this far in life, being nice can take you a long way! People respect you, teachers adore you, and it's one giant leap closer to being a mature citizen of society. It can also get you on people's good side too; not only does it make you feel good, it makes others feel good as well. If everyone just got along with each other, the world would be a little easier!

You have no reason to worry about seniors and juniors picking on you the first day, besides, you have already experienced this situation on a much larger scale, can't remember? Way back to when you were no older than four years old, you survived the biggest day of your life, kindergarden! You were SIX years younger than the oldest kids in your school when you came into your new school, and you will have to do it again. Remember, they will treat you the way you treat them, and if you do get picked on, they are just as nervous and very possibly even more troubled than you are.
