Facts you need to know

  1. You now have five hours instead of seven

  2. You get to choose what (elective) classes you have for each trimester
  3. You will have some classes that are mixed in with upperclassmen
  4. Life starts NOW; everything you do in highschool will determine your future as an adult, from the time you first step in this building to the day you slap on your graduation cap.

What to take...

The great part about high school is that every trimester, you will change your elective classes. It is imperative (important) that you choose classes that you will actually use in life, not just classes that are easy for you so that you can make a quick "A". The idea is to challenge yourself. For example, I would suggest choosing to take spanish over german if you are going to take a language class, because, spanish is the second highest language spoken in the U.S. and it just may be something that could come in handy. So instead of wasting your time in random classes, make the right choice and take the right electives.
